Unibet, one of the World’s most popular bookmakers, is giving players an opportunity to win huge amounts of money by betting on the upcoming 53rd Grammy Awards.

Known as “music’s biggest night”, the 53rd Grammy Awards will honor the best in 2010’s musicians across a spectrum of genres from classical and jazz to pop, hip-hop, country, rock and Latin on 13th February, 2011 at 8.00 pm EST at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.

Nominations for the event have now been finalized and a number of the top names feature on the list.

Eleven-time Grammy winner, Eminem, who is currently leading with ten nominations, including Album of the Year for Recovery, is a very big favorite at bookie sites such as Unibet to win Album of the Year.  Unibet odds on him taking home the award this year are currently 1.20 and this is likely to be a sure bet considering the incredible success of his Recovery album.

Cee Lo Green currently holds top place on the bookie list for the Song of the Year category with the album ‘F*** You”, with odds at 3.00.

Eminem (with Rihanna) with his song “Love the Way You Lie” (3.50) and Lanny Antebellum’s “Need You Now” (4.50) are close on Green’s heels.

Erik Backlund, Head of Unibet’s Sportsbook arm, feels that this year promises to be a particularly exciting event and said "In the much troubled music business, artists seem to have made a great effort to release their best work ever in 2010.”  Backlund added that "Eminem especially has had an exceptional year and I heard that at the 53rd Grammy Awards he will steal the show, both with his performance and also with the awards he will win."

Justin Bieber’s nomination as Best New Artist is bound to thrill all the teenyboppers and Unibet has given him odds of 2.00 that he will be walking away with this award.

Among the contenders for Best Female and Pop Vocal Performance are Lady Gaga and Beyonce, with odds of 1.30 and 3.50 respectively.
