Glasnost has come to TitanPoker, one of the largest online poker rooms in the world, with the addition of Russian to its list of available languages.  The site has updated all of its software, web site pages, and support services to include Russian, bringing the total of foreign language support up to twelve.  English, Danish, French, Finnish, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish, Swedish and Dutch are currently being offered by the site.

"We take special care and effort to accommodate all of our players," said Robin Steele, Titan Poker’s manager. "We want them to have the best quality online experience possible. Adding additional languages such as Russian is just one example of how we pay attention to players' suggestions."  She added, "Instead of having those players read the site in foreign languages they may be unfamiliar with, Titan Poker felt it necessary to translate the entire Web site and launch its software in Russian."

TitanPoker has been noticing an influx of players from Russia and Russian speaking countries as their cash tables and tournament winnings have increased.  It was only natural to add Russian to the list.  The website plans on adding more European languages and when that happens, more players will have the chance to see what the hub-bub around TitanPoker is all about.  

The poker site has been hosting large cash giveaways every month totaling more than $16 million.  There will be a $2.5 million guaranteed prize tournament coming to the site in September.  That tournament will be the largest one TitanPoker has held to date and the staff is expecting to see a huge turnout for it.  TitanPoker will also be hosting qualifiers and satellites for live poker tournaments around the world.  The website’s team did well at the 2008 World Series of Poker and they are hoping that the players they send to the Asian Poker Tour event in Macau in August will fair just as well.
