Online Casino World Changes for Players

Published on: November 24, 2009

One small and one large change occurred today regarding online casinos.  For players in the United Kingdom, you will be more affected by the smaller change to the online casino world.  Sloto Cash has just announced a new interactive slot machine.  The new slot machine is definitely going to catch your eye with upper level graphics and fun symbols.  The holiday season certainly began early.  The new slot being an interactive fun game is definitely going to draw attention.  In fact online casinos that do not have interactive slot machines will start to lose players.

Sloto Cash’s new slot machine will start running the last week of November and through Christmas.  It has twenty pay lines with a theme of time travel.  Its name is even all about time- “A Stitch in Time.”  The online casino machine has five reels and up to 78 free spins.  There are also multipliers to help increase your winnings.

The major change for the online casino world is definitely not fun for some players.  Russia announced a few months ago that they would stop online gambling in their country.  Poland has just decided to follow Russia’s lead.  The United States, Russia, Israel, and India are all countries who have decided to ban online gambling.  Unfortunately, the United States has been banning the online gambling world since 2005.  They have been asked by the European Union to change their minds or pay the consequences.  However, this has not swayed them and now it seems more countries are continuing to ban online gambling.

The Polish government stated they were going to raise the casino taxes in order to put more of a control over the entire online casino world.  However, it seems a few upper level people have worked to stop the taxes from being instituted and instead enforce a ban.  The ban is said to be the answer for the critics talking about the thwarting of the taxes.  The truth is somewhat hard to find, but the point is more to the banning.  Poland has declared all online gambling to be illegal including slots and live gaming.

If new laws remain many businesses are going to be affected and it could mean they close for good, unless their auxiliary income is enough.  It could be that these online casinos are going to have to branch out into other European countries that have not banned online casinos.
