New President and CEO at Cryptologic

Cryptologic, a leader in the online gaming software market has announced that they have appointed a new president and CEO to their company.  Cryptologic, whose software powers top online casinos William Hill, InterCasino and Playboy, offers one of the most extensive Internet gaming solutions out there.  They also power one of today's top poker rooms, a multiplayer bingo solution and provide over 200 innovative and exciting casino games offered in a number of diverse languages and currencies.

Last September, Cryptologics former CEO Lewis Rose declared that he would step down from the position of chief executive due to family commitments.  His resignation would take effect as soon as a replacement was found.  And on Monday April 2nd, the company announced that they had found Rose's replacement, Javaid Aziz.  

Javaid Aziz brings with him over 30 years of experience in Information Technology management.  In 1975 Aziz joined IBM UK as an applications systems engineer and worked his way up to General Manager in 1993 and eventually on 1994, CEO of the tech company.  As CEO of IBM Javaid was responsible for over 1500 employees, all of IBM's activitieson the UK and over $7 billion in revenues.  

From 1995 - 1999 Aziz took on the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager of Silicon Graphics Europe where he was responsible for over 1400 employees and $1 billion in revenues.  Aziz then went on to become the founder and CEO of Aspective, one of Europes leading eBusiness solution providers.  

Aziz is excited to follow in Roses footsteps and to continue to lead the Cryptologic team towards continued growth and expansion in the UK, the rest of Europe and Asia.  The chairman of Cryptologic Inc, Robert Sikeman is confident that Aziz will build on the excellent foundation that was laid by Lewis Rose.
