Caution for Online Casino Players

Published on: November 2, 2008

This morning there has been a rather uncommon warning for online casino players about broken promises as well as ignored communications from certain online gaming sites.

The disputes mediator, Max Drayman from Casinomeister.com, which is the online gambling information website issued this warning last week against a particular internet casino operator.

The biggest complaint was from a player who legitimately won a payout of $33 500 and for several months was trying to claim the money from “Be The Dealer.com” but was unsuccessful. The casino had committed and promised to paying the player a series of payments through installments but had failed on following through with that after they had made the first payment. The online casino had then proceeded to skip another 2 subsequent payments. By this point the player decided to ask for some help and advice from the players advocate.

Be The Dealer.com had initially not wanted to discuss any of the case but they had assured Casinomeister.com that this particular player was contacted with “a solution”. They had said that the player had agreed to this “solution”, and the casino had promised all the missing payments within a few days.

But this didn’t seem to happen…

Once again after Casinomeister.com had approached Be The Dealer.com they were told that the player had agreed to “a solution” with them. The player had then verified that there was now a new date set for the payments to be made. Those payment dates have now come and gone and there seems to be no conclusion to this issue. It also appears that at no point has there been any dispute from the casino about any money owed.

All emails that have been sent from Casionmeister.com as well as the player to the online casino website Be The Dealer as well as to the manager no longer receive replies. And this situation has been going on for a few weeks now.

Casinomester has therefore posted a caution on their site to warn all players that BeTheDealer has not been paying their players after they have agreed to the payout terms. The manager of the casino has repeatedly been making and breaking commitments and the end result is that players’ payments are never made. And when help is requested it seems to become too inconvenient to reply.
