Early last week, leading software provider, Microgaming introduced its newest, exciting slot game, Hitman.  After Microgaming received huge success with their Lara Croft Tomb Raider Series of games, they are excited and believe that Hitman will be the next big thing.

The software company acquired a global licensing deal from Eidos Entertainment Ltd. in order to create and distribute this thrilling slot game.  Eidos (a brand of Sci Entertainment Group) is known as one of the world's largest publishers and developers of entertainment software and is the name behind both the successful Tomb Raider and Hitman video games series.  The three game Hitman series, available on Xbox and Playstation consoles, since it's release in 2002 has sold millions and millions of copies.

It is no wonder, due to the success of the video games, that Hitman has been turned into a major motion picture due in theatres October of this year.  The release of the movie couldn't come at a better time for Microgaming since it will no doubt increase awareness, interest and buzz for the Hitman brand.  The action film is directed by Xavier Gens and will star Deadwood actor Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47.

The story line of the game features Agent 47, the world's deadliest assassin.  Players act as the agent to plan and execute ruthless hits.  Of course the assassin gets paid for their performance and in turn uses their profits to purchase custom built weapons for future business.

The Microgaming version of Hitman comes in the form of a 15 line video slot machine with exhilarating bonus features, top of the line photo-realistic graphics and multiple levels of game play.  Features include a 3 reel expanding wild feature, scatters, bonuses and free spins.  This adrenaline filled game is sure to be the next "big hit" for slot lovers across the globe.
