Cryptologic Offers Casino Solitaire

Solitaire is a very common online card game played by one person. Every user of Windows operating system is familiar with it because it comes in the standard games pack. Cryptologic has converted this innocuous card game into an online casino wagering game that involves a certain amount of skill along with luck.

The wagering pattern has been ingeniously chosen so as to give players a fair chance of recovering their stake and earning something more. The bet per card varies from $0.02 to $1.00 in six stops, which are $0.02, $.05, $0.10, $0.20, $0.50 and $1.00. Since the game is played with a deck of 52 cards the total wager per game is 52 multiplied by the bet per card. If the player selects the bet per card of $1.00 his total bet will be $52.00. If he selects the bet per card of $0.20 his total bet will be $10.40. The win rate per card is four times the bet per card. The player’s total payout is the total number of cards that he manages to transfer to the suit stacks multiplied by the win rate per card. If the player has wagered $1 per card and he manages to transfer all 52 cards to the suit stacks then he will receive a payout of $208 against his total wager of $52. If the player manages to transfer 13 cards to the suit stacks then the player breaks even and for every additional card transferred he wins the win rate per card.

The rules are identical as for the standard draw three solitaire game. Seven columns are stacked with cards, with increasing number of cards in each column. Four vacant cells are displayed above these columns where the suit stacks are to be built starting from Ace upwards. The cards can be removed from the columns for building downwards in alternate red and black cards. The play deck appears on the top left. Three cards are drawn at a time and the last face up card is available for play. When the play deck is turned over thrice the game ends.

There is an Undo button that allows players to undo the last move in certain conditions. When the Undo move is not allowed the button is disabled. The Undo move is allowed to undo the player’s last card move to any of the suit stacks or the columns or when a face up card is on the play deck.

The player begins the game by selecting the total amount wagered. The applicable win rate per card is automatically displayed. When the player clicks the Deal button the cards are dealt and the wagered amount deducted from the player’s balance. The player then plays the game as per the rules. Each time a card is transferred to the suit stacks the amount in the Paid cell is suitably enhanced and so is the player’s balance. When the player is unable to make any further moves he should click the End Game button. The cards are removed from the table and the amount in the Paid cell is reset to zero.

Casino Solitaire can be played at all Cryptologic online casinos such as InterCasino and VIP Casino.
