Canadian Online Poker Player Wins Seat at Upcoming WSOP

It was a good week for online poker player Brian Storm, who on June 10th beat out 58 other players and won the Hollywood Poker/Pokerlistings.com Live Like a Celebrity Freeroll.  Storm’s prize; a $12,000 WSOP prize package.

The online poker player who goes by the screen name, “WiseOneOx”, is a driver and home renovator from Burlington Ontario.  The 35 year old father of two says he plays poker almost every day at Hollywood Poker.

Storm will be heading next month to Las Vegas to claim his prize and take part in every poker players dream, to play in a World Series of Poker main event.  Although he spends a lot of time playing poker online, Storm claims that the nerves of taking part in a live tournament never really go away.

"I've played final tables before and the nerves are always there, waiting for the next card to drop, hitting those pockets and trying to play them for all they are worth," he claims.

But a little bit of nerves doesn’t take away from the excitement of the whole experience for the WiseOneOx.  "I'm definitely excited: the trip, the vacation, the chance to play some of the best for the biggest prize of all, who couldn't be excited?"

On top of the WSOP get away to Las Vegas, Storm was also awarded with an entry into the Live Like a Celebrity Freeroll final Sunday where he and other participants had a shot at winning a four day get away featuring a trip to ESPN’s ESPY awards.
