Cryptologic Acquires Three Year Deal With the WPT

Licensees and developers of online casino and gambling software, Cryptologic are pleased to welcome the World Poker Tour to their growing network of online poker rooms.
The deal, which was made through Cryptologic’s wholly-owned subsidiary, WagerLogic, is for a three year term and will see the WPT gaming site using Cryptologics already established and proven poker software. The World Poker Tour poker room will have an original look designed specifically for them and their poker customers.
The arrangement between the two companies is exciting and only strengthens the forward moving positions of both parties in the massive world of poker. "It is the perfect strategic step for both companies, as World Poker Tour and CryptoLogic are pioneers in the global gaming phenomenon," said CryptoLogic's President and CEO.
Other popular online poker rooms and casinos that have already found great success under Cryptologic’s software and services include, InterPoker and InterCasino, Playboy Gaming, William Hill, Sun Poker, Poker Plex and UK Betting Poker.
The new and improved WPT poker room is projected to take off sometime this June. It is important to note that the gaming site is intended for use internationally, however, due to the Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act in the United States, The WPT poker room along with the rest of the Cryptologics poker network will not and do not accept wagers from US players.
